About
Amanda Lewis L.Ac
I’m grateful to have rejoined TriNatural Healthcare as a Licensed Acupuncturist with training and clinical experience in acupuncture, herbal therapy, bodywork and additional modalities utilized in East Asian Medicine (cupping, Gua Sha, moxibustion, food/nutritional therapy etc.). I enjoy supporting patients in their recovery from accident or injury, improving daily function, and am particularly excited about assisting mental-emotional concerns and menstrual health.
When I’m not in the clinic I enjoy bird watching, nature walks, and cuddling up with my cats and a good book or show.

What to expect during your treatment
The initial visit provides time to review your health history, your primary complaints or treatment focus, and answer any questions. Being a holistic medical system, an East Asian Medicine intake includes questions that might surprise you but help determine your unique pattern and treatment plan. A basic physical exam will follow discussion. You will receive an initial acupuncture treatment during this visit, though treatment time may be shortened based on exam length. Appointment length is approximately 90 minutes.
Return visits are approximately 1 hour including a short check-in on your response to care and current status followed by acupuncture treatment.
Various modalities may be employed based on the response to care and condition. Cupping, manual therapy (Gua Sha/scraping), herbal recommendations, and electrical stimulation may be used.
Services
Acupuncture
Single-use fine needles are inserted at acupuncture points and associated areas to move areas of stagnation that cause discomfort, regulate bodily function and support healing. Many people report feeling very relaxed during and/or after an acupuncture treatment. Electro-acupuncture is a modern form of acupuncture utilizing a small electric current passing between two acupoints to further relieve pain, promote muscle regeneration, and help regulate interactions between the nervous system and peripheral system. Both traditional acupuncture and electroacupuncture may be utilized according to your condition.
